MEXICO: YUCATAN PENINSULA

MEXICO: YUCATAN PENINSULA

The Yucatan Peninsula offers the perfect combination of culture and relaxation, with its impressive Mayan ruins to visit, and beautiful Caribbean beaches of white sand and turquoise sea.

For lovers of underwater exploration it is also an interesting area, very accessible, thanks to direct flights from Madrid to Cancun.

On our first trip we propose to visit an exotic island with indescribable beauty and natural assets, Holbox Island, the paradise of the “bare foot lovers”. Forget your shoes and lose yourself in the island’s philosophy… live with the kind people of this fishing village, and if you are daring enough you can go snorkeling with the whale shark, the largest fish in the world!!! Fortunately it only feeds on plankton.

Then we will learn about the Maya world, with its impressive archaeological areas: Ek Balam, Uxmal, and wonder of the world, Chichen Itza.

Colonial cities such as intensely yellow Izamal, Valladolid, the Most Noble and Loyal City of Merida, and the walled city of Campeche.

And we always stay in beautiful haciendas.

To round off the trip, we will go to Tulum, in the heart of the Caribbean, where we have a large selection of accommodation. Here we will rest, swim in one of its beautiful “Cenotes” of turquoise water and visit the archaeological site of Tulum.
