We will climb 2,260 metres to the Tchiska pass, with its impressive scenery and small villages hanging from the most unimaginable places. On to the Draa Valley, an oasis with endless palm groves…. The Kasbahs appear as if by magic among a sea of palms; we will visit some of them, like the Casbah Taourirt in Ouarzazate, incredibly well conserved!!
We will be shown a factory where they still make ceramics in the world’s most primitive fashion, and we will reach the gates of the Sahara, the Oasis of Oulas Driss, where camels are waiting to take us across the desert to reach our marvellous berber-style camp, beneath the stars and with candles as the only illumination!!! All of an experience!!
Aint ben Haddou, World Heritage Site, and the Casbah of Telouet are stopping places where we will eat with a local family, some of the surprises that await us before arriving at Marrakesh, the pink city.
